Iodine defficiency manifests itself through issues during moulting, especially problematic for gouldian finch. Moulting is either delayed or slowed down, which causes bolding. PROFEED IODINE prevents the risk of feather issues occurance and supports fertility while supporting the overall well-being of an animal. Iodine is vital also for proper thyroid functioning, preventing goiters – enlarged thyroid, which puts pressure on vocal cords and causes breathing issues. The product can be safely used over extended period of time.

Dosage

5 ml/ 1 liter of drinking water

Preventive treatment: 2-3 times a week

Postweaning birds: 1-2 times a week

During moulting and breeding:  1-2 times a week

After antibiotic treatment also give probiotic!
