Product characteristics

PROFEED ACTIV is an acidifying agent in a liquid form, which decreases pH of ingesta and reduces the amount of pathogenic bacteria in the alimentary tract of animals. PROFEED ACTIV maintains acid-base balance of an alimentary tract and is responsible for distribution of the water in organism, its absorption and diffusion. The product stimulates feed intake, improves the digestibility of nutrients and lowers the level of bacteria like Salmonella and Clostridium perfingens.

Indications

PROFEED ACTIV is recommended to be used:

 

  • to decrease pH of alimentary tract
  • during high temperature, to reduce thermal stress of animals
  • during and after diarrhea
  • during changing feed and when decreased water intake is observed



Dosage

To decrease pH of alimentary tract:

  • PROFEED ACTIV 1-1,5 liter/ 1 000 liters of drinking water. Prepared solution should be administered for 8-12 hrs/ day, 3-5 days a week

 

During high temperature, to reduce thermal stress:

  • PROFEED ACTIV 1-1,5 liter + PROFEED HYDRO C 0,5-1 liter/ 1 000 liters of drinking water administered for 8-12 hr/ day, for 5-7 days

 

During and after occurring diarrhea:

  • PROFEED ACTIV 1,5-2 liter/ 1 000 liters of drinking water administered for 8-12 hrs/ day, 3-5 times a week
  • PROFEED ACTIV 1,5-2 liter + PROFEED LAX FORTE 0,5-1 liter/ 1 000 liters of drinking water provided for 8-12 hrs/ day, 3-5 times a week

 

During changing feed and lower water intake:

  • PROFEED ACTIV 0,5-1 liter/ 1 000 liters of drinking water administered for 8-12 hrs/ day for 2-3 days after changing feed
  • PROFEED ACTIV 0,5-1 liter + PROFEED HYDRO 1-1,5 kilogram/ 1 000 liters of drinking water administered for 8-12 hrs/ day, 3-5 days a week
